#15: Coast to Coast
New York City and Los Angeles are very different places. Who knew existing on opposite coasts of the same country could make a city’s culture so different and unique? There also seems to be a rivalry between the two cities, with New Yorkers thinking their city is the best and Angelenos feeling the same about theirs. No matter what your opinion is, this overheard snippet is pretty apt.
Someone was explaining a major difference between the two cities and the people in them, and it’s pretty accurate. New York City is for people who hate themselves and LA is for people who are obsessed with themselves. Considering how rough and tough New York can be, we totally get what they mean. There’s at least one thing Angelenos and New Yorkers can agree upon, according to this person. They all love having money!
