Amusing Overheard Conversations in NYC That Made Us Raise an Eyebrow

Here we have another case of a subway rider trying to bribe a musician to stop playing their music on the train. All they want is some peace and quiet, and they will do anything to achieve that goal. Someone was performing the Guns N’Roses hit “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” on the train, and this guy couldn’t take it anymore.

He straight up offered the musician $5 to stop playing so he could listen to his podcast. Boring! We’re not sure if anyone else on the train agreed with this man, but listening to a podcast doesn’t sound nearly as entertaining. Also, he was only offering $5, which is basically pennies in New York, so who knows if this musician even took him up on the offer.
