Amusing Overheard Conversations in NYC That Made Us Raise an Eyebrow

Politics can be a heated discussion pretty much anywhere in the U.S. (and the world) nowadays, but it’s particularly touchy on the streets of New York. These two people were getting to know each other and one of them asked where the other was from. They very wisely refused to reveal where they grew up, and probably for good reason.

They said they didn’t want to bring their home state up because it was a swing state. They obviously have some tension with their family that still lives back home as a result. It sounds like they’re over talking and obsessing about politics and we totally understand why. It’s stressful!
