They say that marriage is all about teamwork and trust, but when it comes to the legal system, those ideals can be put to the test. As someone married for a few years, I can’t imagine ever being forced to testify against my partner in court. But according to the stats, it happens quite frequently.

In fact, over 20% of married couples have to testify against each other in court at some point in their lives.
