Dell Inc., a leading global computer firm founded by Michael Dell in the 1980s, has evolved its manufacturing strategy over the years. Originally producing all its products in the United States, it now makes servers in Austin, Texas, outsourcing other productions.

As Dell expanded globally, it established laptop factories in Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia, China, and Ireland. The Limerick, Ireland facility, known for its build-to-order model, became one of the nation’s largest at 40,000 square feet and employs over 3,000 individuals.
