#10: Colorado
Jobs Gained: 6.5%
Jobs Lost: 6.5%
Colorado had a busy job market, with lots of jobs being created and lost at the same pace. New work often comes from tech, health care, tourism, outdoor recreation, construction, energy, and professional services, especially around Denver and other growing areas.

But Colorado’s growth also comes with pressure. High housing costs, business expenses, tech layoffs, seasonal tourism shifts, and slower construction can all lead to job losses. So even with strong industries, the state looked more balanced than booming in this data.
