#25: Kentucky
Jobs Gained: 5.3%
Jobs Lost: 5.6%
Kentucky continued to create jobs through manufacturing, auto production, logistics, health care, bourbon tourism, agriculture, and construction. Its central location also helps support warehouse and shipping jobs, especially around Louisville and other transportation hubs.

Still, the losses side was stronger. Some factories and smaller businesses can cut back when costs rise or demand slows, while rural areas may struggle to attract steady new employers. Kentucky was not far from balanced, but job losses had the upper hand in this round.
