#26: Minnesota
Jobs Gained: 5.3%
Jobs Lost: 5.6%
Minnesota’s job market looked steady, but it leaned slightly toward losses. New jobs can come from health care, finance, education, manufacturing, food production, retail, and the business activity around Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Still, some jobs are disappearing as companies cut costs, offices adjust to hybrid work, and older industries face slower demand. Harsh winters and higher costs can also make hiring harder in some areas. Minnesota was still creating work, but losses were a little stronger here.
