These Posts and Memes Transport Us Back to the 80s

I’ve been considering it, and I think this has to be referring to the 2022 Super Bowl, because the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show featured Rihanna, and people under 30 still know who she is, don’t they? Or maybe they don’t and I’m just showing my age by thinking they would.

But 2022 gave us Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Eminem—all artists who still have some level of relevance today, but certainly hit their heyday back when I was young. I’m glad that they went that direction. Kids today get enough things that are oriented towards their tastes; give those of us in our 30s something just for us, I say.
