#34: Higher Obesity Rates in Everyday Life
Visitors may notice that larger body sizes are more common in the U.S. than in many other countries. It can stand out in airports, malls, restaurants, theme parks, and public spaces, especially for people coming from places where portions are smaller, cities are more walkable, and daily movement is built into normal life.

Fast food and convenience meals also became deeply woven into daily routines, making weight and health a much bigger national issue over time.
