#20: Bing Crosby’s Son Gary Crosby
Growing up in Bing Crosby’s household was far more complicated than the public likely imagined. Born in 1933, Gary Crosby experienced life inside one of entertainment’s most famous families during the height of radio, film, and music stardom, but later described a childhood marked by strict discipline and emotional difficulties behind closed doors.

Gary followed his father into entertainment for a time, working as an actor and singer in television and music. However, he became best known later in life for his memoir Going My Own Way, which offered a deeply critical and controversial account of his upbringing with Bing Crosby and shocked many fans of the legendary entertainer.
